Insurance for all members to help protect you and your family

Local Super offers members a full range of insurance options to choose from including Death, Total and permanent disablement (TPD) and Income protection.

You can control the type of insurance you have and how it is calculated based on your membership type. The range of insurance options on offer include:

• Salarylink insurance
• Age based cover
• Fixed level cover
• Income protection

All members have the option of changing their insurance cover (excluding any applicable Salarylink insurance) to suit their financial security needs, including applying for higher cover, reducing or cancelling cover.

The maximum total insurance a member can have with Local Super, across all their accounts, is $1million for Death and TPD. You can nominate a different value for TPD cover to that of your Death cover, but its value cannot exceed the total value of your Death cover.
