Make the most of your options

At Local Super we’re here to help you. Realising your superannuation and investment goals can be made easier with the right advice and support. Our team of Advisers can provide you with personal advice relating to Local Super’s options. They can assist you to work through your personal circumstances and develop a strategy to achieve your goals. 

Local Super also offers a subsidised financial planning service for eligible members through Industry Fund Financial Planning (IFFP). IFFP is the financial planning division of Industry Fund Services P/L (AFSL No. 232514).

If you are actively employed with a Local Super participating employer, you are eligible for a subsidised interview and report if you are:

  • Over age 55 or
  • Ceased service after age 55, or
  • Have been approved to receive an ill-health or total and permanent disablement payout, or
  • Are a spouse of a member who has become entitled to death benefit and,
  • You have sought the financial planning service within six months of being eligible.

The fee for this service is $1,250. Local Super contributes $950, the balance of $300 is paid by you either by deduction from your membership or paid directly to IFFP.

It is important to note that Local Super does not receive any commissions for referring members to IFFP and IFFP do not charge upfront or ongoing commissions.
