Local Super offers six investment options:

 

• Australian shares
• International shares
• Sustainable shares
• Growth
• Conservative
• Cash

 

Investment choice applies to the following Local Super account types:

 

• Marketlink account
• Retirement pension
• Access pension
• Term allocated pension(closed)

 

It is important to understand that investment choice does not apply to:

 

• Salarylink benefits
• Deferred CPI linked benefits
• Term pensions

 

Making an investment choice

You may invest your super in one or a combination of investment options and you can make a different investment choice for your existing account balance and for all future transactions (including contributions). The proportions you elect must be in whole percentages and total 100%.

 

Changing your investment choice to suit you is easy and can be done at any time. Simply login to the Member Secure Site at the top of the screen and process your change online or download a form and forward to Local Super. There is no fee to make an investment choice.

 

On joining Local Super, if you don't make an investment choice, your Marketlink account will be invested in the 'Trustee choice' option – Growth . On commencing a Retirement or Access pension you must make an investment choice.
