Local Super was established in 1984 and provides superannuation services to the Local Government sector in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

 

Local Super membership is now open to the general public and we are committed to making sure you get everything you need from your super. We strive to achieve strong and competitive long-term investment returns, low fees and to ensure that you have the help and support you need to be prepared for your retirement.

We have now been looking after our members' super for 27 years. Membership has grown to over 25,000 and super benefits are approximately $1.6 billion.

In 2012, for the fifth year running, Local Super was awarded a Platinum Rating by SuperRatings in recognition of its commitment to providing value for money superannuation benefits for its members.
